Social Inclusion: Inspiring Trends in European Funded Projects.

Social Inclusion: Inspiring Trends in EuropeanFunded Projects.

In October 2017 a meeting was held in Brussels bringing together over 130 social inclusion projects.
It was the first event to involve projects from across three different EU funded programmes Erasmus+, Creative Europe and Europe for Citizens.

The meeting, aimed to collect and exchange project experience from grassroots organisations and identify ideas for better policy and programme design.

This seems part of a new trend with the EACEA (Education Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency), to actually begin to consult with those who work on the ground and whose direct experience is vital for current programmes to become more relevant to actual lived lives.

Voices of Culture, led by The Goethe Institute is also working in a similar consultative way and will be
publishing the results of a structured dialogue process about Social Inclusion this Autumn.
